Feisty UK pop sensation Luciana and Aussie diva Paulini are the latest artists announced for the biggest party on Melbourne’s gay calendar, T Dance.

The Midsumma Festival kicks off this Sunday with the Midsumma Carnival, followed by talent-packed T Dance at Birrarung Marr Park.

Luciana (pictured) has become renowned world-wide for her infectious dance music and fierce on-screen attitude. She has collaborated with Tiësto, Bodyrox and Richard Vission to put out songs such as We Own The Night, When It Feels This Good and the song that kick-started her career, Yeah Yeah.

Paulini has become a household name in Australia since she appeared in the first Australian Idol series back in 2003 and has been heralded as one of the finest singers this country has produced. Almost a decade on since she reached Idol’s top four, she has produced two albums including her debut platinum album, One Determined Heart, and remains one of just 10 Australian female solo singers to have a No.1 album. She currently has her third album on the way.

Both artists join an already strong line-up with Wayne G, Ruby Rose, M.A.F.I.A, DJ L’IL MISS K, DJ Mike Evans and the Midsumma National DJ search winner, DJ Emilioh.

Zoe Badwi, who was previously headlining T Dance, has pulled out due to conflicting timetable arrangements and is now performing at the cricket in Adelaide instead.

T Dance is on this Sunday, January 13 at Birrarung Marr Park from 5pm.
