Get a discount for being a sports lover
Lovers of sport and travel will be given a unique opportunity in 2009 to combine those passions and even receive a discount for doing so.
Next year will see the biennial Australian Masters Games (20 February – 1 March) make their way to Geelong, followed by the World Masters Games (10-18 October) in Sydney. To celebrate this ongoing testament to sport, the Australian Masters are offering a special discount to participants who wish to register for both events.
By registering for the Sydney World Masters before the start of the games, participants will be eligible for a discount of between $24 and $39 on their Australian Masters registration. Registering parties need only keep a record of their registration confirmation and ID numbers to receive the discount.
Both events are sure to be highlights of the national sporting calendar each year, attracting thousands of amateur sportspeople with a love for competition to take part in a number of sports. Open to anyone over the age of 30, the aim of the games is to get people involved and celebrating healthy lifestyles.
