Here Lies Love – David Byrne and Fatboy Slim

Here’s one of the oddest musical propositions you’ll hear all year: a sprawling, two-disc musical about the life of Filipino first lady Imelda Marcos written by unlikely duo David Byrne and Fatboy Slim. Thankfully, it’s also one of the best, largely due to the incredible cast of female talent they’ve assembled — Cyndi Lauper, Tori Amos, Natalie Merchant, Sia and Florence Welch are just a few of the fabulous females featured here.
