TEENAGE DREAM – KATY PERRY
Katy Perry’s second album follows in much the same style as her debut: a smattering of radio-friendly hits mixed with a whole lot of filler. Thankfully, the hit and miss ratio here is a little higher, with anthems like the gorgeous title track and future single Firework making up for a largely dull second half. And on the Ke$ha-lite Last Friday Night (TGIF), Perry even manages to deliver cheesy lines like ‘Think I need a ginger ale/That was such an epic fail’ with a straight face.
