Gay & Lesbian Community Publishing Limited is a community-owned, incorporated company.
The company’s core business is publishing the Star Observer, weekly gay and lesbian community newspaper that extends down Australia’s eastern seaboard, and the associated website www.starobserver.com.au.
The newspaper and website have the highest audited circulation and readership of any lesbian and gay weekly news source in the country.
The Star Observer was launched in December 2011 and was formed by combining the company’s original newspaper, the Sydney Star Observer, and its Victorian offering, Southern Star Observer, into a single masthead and extending its reach into Queensland.
