JOY beds down for change
Recreating the famous ‘bed-in’ staged by pop culture icons John Lennon and Yoko Ono at the Amsterdam Hilton in 1969, Melbourne-based LGBTI radio station JOY94.9 will host its own bed protest next week to raise awareness for marriage equality.
Friday Drive team David and Sue (pictured) will present their usual three-hour show from the comfort of a bed at the JOY studios on March 30, 4-7pm. The studio will be open to the public. Gold coin donation to go to the station.
