The Main Drag
The streets of Darlinghurst will come alive for Mardi Gras on Saturday for The Main Drag, a series of interactive pop-up events taking place on and around the Oxford St strip. Kicking off at 11am with a free drag show in Taylor Square, the fun then continues with a drag bar crawl along some of the area’s most iconic bars before finishing up with a pop-up dance party at Oxford Square from 4pm.

Stonewall Hotel is leading the culinary charge for gay bars across Sydney with the launch of their new eatery, Dick’s Diner. Serving a blend of modern West Coast and Southern American food, Dick’s Diner is promising the tastiest in bar cuisine at a lunchtime price point. Mark Dopson and Ulysses Svoronos have created the menu. Both are experienced chefs, and have operated hotels and restaurants in Sydney and London. Small dishes start at $3, mains from $10-$15.
