We featured a preview of Darren Hayes’ Talk Talk Talk video on Friday and can now share the finished product with you.

The former Savage Garden singer has been working on new material for the past four years and is determined to make his comeback count with the help of an arty film clip directed by his husband Richard Cullen.

Based on the work of John Gilsenan, the artist who designed Darren’s album cover, the video is a collaboration with animators Andrew Philip and Gavin Elder.

It cleverly places the singer in and amongst drawings and animated images – making it something of a moving collage.

The video definitely suits the song, which Hayes has described as the most upbeat on his soon-to-be-released fourth album Secret Codes and Battleships.

“It’s quite synthy, and as a first cut from a record, it’s a nice introduction,” Darren told Showbiz Spy.

“It’s probably the most dance and electronic influenced song on there – the rest of the album is a bit darker.”
