First listen to new Gaga

Lady Gaga treated the world to the first listen of her new material overnight.

The Fame Monster allowed a remix of the song Scheiße to be used as the backing music for Mugler creative director’s Nicola Formichetti’s fashion show.

The track is said to be from her new album Born This Way, scheduled for release in May this year.

The new single, also titled Born This Way, is released on February 13.

Lady Gaga is expected to perform the new track at this year’s Grammy Awards, which are on the same date as the track is released. She is nominated for six awards.

The music superstar recently told her 7.5 million odd Twitter followers that her new album would be released on May 23.

She even tweeted lyrics from the song, which appears to explore the same self-acceptance theme as Ke$ha’s We R Who We R and Katy Perry’s Firework.

“I’m beautiful in my way, ’cause God makes no mistakes, I’m on the right track baby, I was Born This Way,” the diva tweeted before completing what is assumed to be the chorus 15 minutes later with “don’t hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you’re set. I’m on the right track baby, I was Born This Way.”
