Gaga does Letterman
Lady Gaga’s Born This Way promo blitz continues at full throttle with an appearance on David Letterman’s Late Show.
The record-breaking pop icon showed a lighter side to her personality during the 15 minute interview, joking about her education and fashion sense.
Mother Monster told the talk show hot that she finished high school but didn’t graduate from college, quipping “in my line of work I don’t know that they can teach you how to ride disco sticks.”
As for her trademark look, David commented on the diva’s lack of pants. She replied that he really should try it.
The Judas singer has been criticised for claiming to have sold 24 million albums during the interview – the real figure has been estimated at around half that – but it’s nice to see her in such a good mood.

So she screwed it up and ATE the script, as opposed to screwing it up and throwing it behind her shoulder, like Madonna’s infamous appearance. Such a modern twist! So Original™!
On the album sales – wikipedia cites her as having sold 15 million in August 2010 – and with 23 million facebook friends and born this way being sold for 99 cents on Amazon, its easy to believe she’d be up to 24 million now.
