Ricky Martin has just debuted the second single from his soon to be released Music+Soul+Sex album.
Shine is a return to the upbeat pop sound that made him a superstar in the 90s – news that will no doubt please fans that were disappointed by the album’s laid back first single The Best Thing About Me.
That sleepy duet with British soul singer Joss Stone failed to set the charts on fire but Shine is the kind of instantly catchy pop song that should find a home at radio.
Music+Soul+Sex is due to be released on February 1, 2011.
It is Ricky’s first album since coming out of the closet.
