Rebecca Black 2.0?
The man behind YouTube sensation Rebecca Black has revealed his latest teen singer hoping to break into the big time.
Patrice Wilson, the CEO of Ark Music Factory, last week premiered the music video of Lexi St. George; a Rebecca Black clone whose voice is mighty similar to that Friday-loving shrieker.
Dancing to the Rhythm (With Me) is the first single from the 14-year-old, who’ll be hoping to avoid the labels put on Black’s work, including Worst YouTube clip of all time.
It’s already notched up 80,000 views on the site since being released.
Wilson told US television program Good Morning America that he didn’t want people comparing St. George to Black.
“With this project, it’s a bit of a different thing… I don’t anticipate that people are going to dislike this video,” Wilson said.
“I’ve basically been reading every review and I’m like, thank God this is really good.”
