Ricky Martin’s song for gay fans
Ricky Martin has unveiled the video for video for his new single The Best Thing About Me.
The ’90s pop icon is gearing up for the release of Music+Soul+Sex on February 1 – his first album since coming out.
While The Best Thing About Me failed to take off on radio, possibly due to the song’s unexpected Jack Johnson-esque acoustic pop sound, the video is sure to be well received.
The simple clip – with its message of acceptance and equality – will appeal to Ricky’s gay fans.
That and the fact that he goes shirtless and looks ten times hotter now than he did at the peak of his Livin’ La Vida Loca fame.
The Best Thing About Me features vocals from British soul star Joss Stone but she is conspicuously absent from the video.
