2. I am a 73-year-old-gay-man. Many of my friends have died and I now live alone. I have known for most of my adult life that something was missing but I never realised until quite recently that what I didn’t have was my own children. When I was young and gay the thought of having your own kids was more than an impossible dream, it was a thought was no gay man was able to contemplate unless he was going to deceive and marry a straight woman, as many did and still do. Today the gay genie is out of the bottle for once and for all. The bigots are busily trying to stuff him back into his bottle but all fair minded people the world over accept that he is out for good. I am now able to know and understand that the urge to recreate life is possibly an innate need that we all feel no matter what our sexuality. It’s too late for me but I urge all young gay people,men And woman who want children, to follow their dream and bugger the bigots and their fellow travellers.

3. It is the Nazi Bishops that remind us everywhere that Church and State should never mix. Could we imagine the horror that would fall on Australia should the Christian Lobby run for office with funding from George Pell and the Catholic Church? I have no doubt many Catholics would leave the Church if George Pell had any real power. The Evangelical Family First is but one real example saying Lesbians should be burnt alive.

   The Christian Democrats can only lead down a path where people are once again persecuted. In Australia some Churches are already trying to be like the Nazi Bishops, engaging in politics telling people who to vote for, and running a petition against people in our community have any real rights, such as giving us Federal Equal Opportunity Protection.

   The Liberal and National Party have many fundamentalist. Even Tony Abbott was caught lying about secret meetings with George Pell, the head of the Catholic Church in Australia.

   If we are to vote for a Political Party that does not understand the concept of the Nazi Bishops, and the need to separate Church and State, then we are voting for hate itself.

4. People in our community have had children for years and years. They adopt, they have children from a previous relationship, they use IVF, they get together with an opposite Same-Sex attracted couple, they use a surrogate mum, they also foster children. I know of many great Gay Dad’s and Mum’s. It should be about your ability to be a good parent. Not your sexuality.

   The facts are some children have no person that wants them and have to grow in institutions that with best efforts, does make a loving home. The Forgotten Generation Report is a great guide to what happens to children of institutions.

   Now I am not going to get in the way of good and decent people who want a child and have a loving home. There would be millions and millions of adults by now, around the world, that grew up in Same-Sex households.

   If we look at the Animal Kingdom we see again some Same-Sex attracted couples wanting to have an infant and raise it. Even Swans as just one example, have been known to get together and procreate, and then all share raising the young. I think it is in our nature that some of us want children regardless of our sexuality, and enjoy raising them.

   I have great respect for the Same-Sex couples I have known that have raised children into young adults. Sure, having children is not for everyone, Same-Sex attracted or not, some of us chose not to have any children, but I am not going to get in the way of a loving home and a child. And really isn’t this about your ability to provide a safe and loving environment for a child? We allow mass murderers to have children, no questions asked, you can even blow up a train full of people but that will not stop you having children. But if you are Same-Sex attracted then some think that alone should exclude you from having children, and that offends me greatly, and it also ignores the reality of life for millions of adults who had Same-Sex attracted parents. When we focus on the sexuality of people rather than the ability to provide a good home, then, I think, we are losing the plot as far as the best interest of the child is concerned.

5. Whilst I totally agree that gay men should not have children I find the statement “kids do not wish to be raised by gay parents’ to be stupid. What did he do a survey of unborn children?

   I think that while it is important to broadcast the views of people and fight for rights to marry and adopt and change the law, I think the majority of queens are going to eventually get a ring on it and change nappies, a choice I find disgusting, but if that is what is wanted then go for it, I don’t see why I should prevent that. But you do yourself a dis-service by going on and on about what Fred Nile or anyone says, just go for it because same sex marriage and same parent child raising is going to happen despite comments from people such as this person who rants the same old messages that people don’t really pay attention to. Elton John didn’t.

Its not complicated, its as simple as that! its your choice to be what you are, so try not to devalue those who qualify to be married or have children, I have some gay friends in fact even my boyfriend respects the marriage of man and women and their decision to bring up children, knowing all very well they ( GAYS ) simply have something missing for the correct upbringing of new life, but then again my gay friends are not the narcs or trouble makers there just nice people,

   Im german/australian and am so sick to death of these Dickheads who carry on “50 yrs ago WW2 blah blah blah”
   Germany paid the price,A country completely flattened,yet it got back on its feet and gave you what you want i.e Porsche,BMW,VW,Mercedes,Audi,Rocket Science to the Stars etc.
   Germany pours millions of Donations to its Euro neigbours,Even helped in the U.N Peace keeping in the Middle East.
   Sure Kauder is a Nutter,but because he’s German,it doesn’t make him the “Voice of the Nation”
   BTW John Lindsay,Hitler was Austrian,an Ethnic in Germany,but because he was a Monster,anybody apposing him “Just dissapeared”.

8. Ken Wildy is sooooooo right. One small goose step leads to a giant step. Put those goose steps to music and there will be murder and the burning of books.
   How many times has a kindly gay man fed and sheltered heterosexual sperm + egg discarded persons? I am supporting two of them at the moment. As those Christianites will cleverly say, “Grooming them”. And it’s hard yakka.
   I have one of their poorly educated offspring desperately clinging to me for help. A high school graduate from West End State High School, Brisbane, who has recently been issued with a School Certificate. The poor kid cannot spell the most basic English words needed to apply for a job of get a car license. Why was he issued with a School Certificate of competency???
   This child is also a refugee from John Howards war-torn/greed for Oil policies. I hope that you Mr. John Howard feel safe and comfortable in your home and in your big super/soft leather chair by the fire.
   My other charge is a mentally disabled, egg + sperm, heterosexual reject. Challenge the parents why they will not look after their child, and it’s amazing the excuses they come up with, such as…”Oh, but he is a grown man”. They really have this mantra down to a fine art. Carers Queensland artfully duck for cover over these Gay Carer issues also.
   It is noted there are many fine words being bandied about education in the media today, finger pointing and hot air. Frankly it’s the opinion of many Australians today that Gillard and Abbott are just not up to the job.

9. So easy for Politic’ns to sow seeds of diochomoty on this issue and ‘stir-the-pot’ to gain votes. Popes and clergy have had children as a written fact + lovers of same genders..this is alos a real fact.

   This ‘goose stepping German’ so V Kauder has no insight as to who or whom procreates and ‘dummps onto society’ children not wanted and as gay’s are tax payers we get to support these sperm + egg discarded persons and WE GAYS ‘should’nt have kids’.
   His sexuality forces them on us,ok.
   Little does he know of the numbers of married men who have male to male sex and lie to their partners and just how many current marraiges end in devorce? The mnumbers are in and STAGGgggERRINNGG!

   So no gay Doctors;nurses;clinical staff;emergency staff all who deal with kids.//dddeeerrr… this guy has a real head problem I suggest for sure ok.

    Today it is the gays and lesbians who arn’t fit to have kids.
    Tomorrow it will be the Jews, Gypsies, Slavs, guest workers and non Aryians who MUST be prevented from breeding. Liebensraum must not be filled with trash.
