Dolly will always love you

Dolly Parton has discussed her popularity in the gay community in an interview with Larry King.

The country music legend appeared on the talk show to promote her new movie Joyful Noise, which co-stars Queen Latifah.

Joyful Noise is musical about two women who come together to save their local choir.

During the interview Larry asked Dolly about her gay fans and she put her gay icon status down to the fact that she doesn’t judge and believes people should be expected as they are. See clip below.

Dolly has confirmed she will be touring Australia in spring next year.
