British pop sensation Cheryl Cole debuted her latest video clip “The Flood” earlier today.
Expectations for the song are high given the fact that her last single holds the highest opening week sales for a non-charity single in 2010.
It will be impressive if she can repeat that success because “The Flood” – as close to a power ballad as Cheryl’s voice can manage – is a radical departure from the upbeat dance-pop of “Promise This”.
The video is a simple, pared back affair that puts the focus squarely on Cheryl’s good looks and lack of clothing.
