YOU
Orange Muse

One of the sexiest grooves to fall into my hands late last year was this absolute gem of a track, a house-bound masterpiece with a vocal that lifts you off the planet. I just cannot speak highly enough of this track. Every fan of quality house music should have a copy, whether you be a DJ or just a lover of music. Pure gold.

ESTRANGED
Mert Yucel, Goknil & Sarp

Feeling like you want to get a little more dark and on the progressive side? Well, you can’t go past this amazing track, powerful and hauntingly beautiful with shades of motion that remind me of Moby’s The Ultimate Go. The flip-side on the vinyl, Fade Away, is equally as driving.

WATCHING CARS GO BY
Felix Da Housecat vs. Sasha

This corker of a track is a completely unexpected melding of musical minds, huge drummy, tribal, rock fusions with elements of trance pitched in for good measure. As a massive fan of both Sasha and Felix, I think this track rips the floor off its foundations.

LOVE YOU FEEL
Soul Avengerz

Rolling vocal house gets the right royal treatment from the ever-professional talents of Soul Avengerz. It’s a very lush, full-sounding number that gives you that total bouncy dancefloor magic, a definite feel-good summer pearler that’ll lift your spirits when it blasts over the airwaves.

BOOTY LA LA
Bugz In The Attic

Odd in name and maybe a little odd in nature, but this track which jumped into my record collection this week grabbed my utmost attention from first play. Jazzy tripped-up house (I wanted to use the term speed garage here, but I don’t think that genre exists any more), with original blending of samples and song, it’s not for everyone, methinks, but I hope it is liked by many.
