COME AS YOU ARE (Dirty Funker Remix)

Dirty Funker

The Dirty Funker remixes Nirvana’s Come As YouAre in his usual style that provides a fantastic funky house hit. Being a huge fan of Nirvana in the 90s, I couldn’t imagine a remix would ever do justice to such a classic. However this is a track that all nirvana fans will appreciate and one that will engage new fans of the rock icons. It’s huge.

NY LIPPS (Kawazaki Dub)

Soulwax

Soulwax combines one of its recent releases, NY Excuse, with one of the grooviest early 80s disco anthems, Lipps Inc’s Funky Town. This bootleg is already becoming a dance floor hit that makes the crowd just wanna get up and groove, whether they starting clubbing in the early 80s or last year.

EACH HIGHER LEVEL

Kpaxx

One of my signature tracks, this is an oldie but it never fails to capture an immediate response from the crowd. Fusing a kick drumbeat with the didgeridoo, it builds into higher-level base lines and higher energy, reflecting the track’s title.

BLANC CEILING (Jonnie Polyester & K-Boy Mainroom Vocal)

Floor Faction

At the moment this is the track that gets me off behind the decks, watching the crowd curiously raise their heads to the first few beats and eventually their bodies, realising it’s another of those 80s, new romantic era hits making an appearance again. Think new romantic, think Middle Eastern, think funky electro baselines, think no more. Just dance.

GROOVE IS IN THE HEART

Oliver Moldan vs Deee-Lite

Progressive house meets electro that either gets you the first time or becomes a grower. A wicked remix of Deee-Lite’s Groove Is In The Heart with solid baselines and sparse drum beats.
