Pip Manley’s family appeals for help

THE family of a 21-year-old Hunter Valley university student who went missing six weeks ago has launched a public appeal to help find him.
Pip Manley, from Bolwarra Heights near Maitland in country NSW, was last seen by his mother when he was dropped off at Telarah train station on Thursday, November 21 to meet a friend.
The Star Observer understands that Pip, who is studying to be a teacher at the University of Newcastle, was a frequent visitor to LGBTI-friendly venue Unity Nightclub in Newcastle as well as other places in Sydney and the Central Coast.
According to reports in Fairfax Media, he was also in good spirits when he was last seen.
“Sometimes he’s gone for one or two days and he’s stayed with a friend, but he’s never been gone for six weeks,” father Jonathan told Fairfax, adding that it was out of character for him to go missing.
The Manley family said that since Pip went missing, he has not accessed his bank account, nor his Facebook or mobile phone, and has not contacted friends or family.
NSW Police stated they have also spoken to many of Pip’s friends to try and find him and have urged anyone with information on him since his disappearance to come forward.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall with a thin build, fair-skinned, brown hair with long blond tips/ streaks, and green eyes. He also has a piercing in his left eyebrow.
