Summit seeks opinions
Greater community consultation will be sought, it was decided at last week’s GLBT 2020 committee meeting.
The way forward will be determined by an online survey, which will seek to garner ideas from the wider community in the lead-up to the next major meeting in March.
What we were looking at was how we could progress and expand the consultation process, said spokesman for the event, Queer Screen president Sebastian Rice.
What we settled on was the need to broaden the consultation process through a series of short surveys, to try and get feedback from the broader community about what their thoughts were.
