PFLAG calls for members

The Victorian PFLAG chapter has put out a call for new and former members to renew their subscriptions.
PFLAG Victoria president Ian Glascott said memberships are currently -œat their lowest level ever, and that the Bendigo group was forced to close due to a lack of new memberships.
PFLAG meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Toorak Bowls Club. As the group receives no government funding, it relies entirely on subscriptions and donations to cover the costs associated with the PFLAG website, meetings and phone helpline service.
Yearly PFLAG memberships range from $15 for a single concession membership to $100 for a business or corporation. Those eager to help can sign up at pflagvictoria.com.au.

One response to “PFLAG calls for members”

  1. While as each year goes by, more young people and their families go through the coming out process without issue, I still think PFLAG is the best and most important of the gay rights organisations around the country because its a true bridge between gay and straight Australia and represents a door through which the majority of Australians can take part and show support for our struggle for equality.

Lets all do our best to support PLAG Victoria.
