New venue for GLMA
The Gay and Lesbian Martial Arts Club (GLMA) will move from the Joseph Sargent Hall from this Saturday, 2 May, to the newly renovated Erskineville Town Hall.
It’s better for comfort all round and is definitely more Posh Spice, GLMA Martial Arts founder Penny Gulliver said.
It was our original venue when we moved to Erskineville with Pride in 2004. The hall has been unavailable because of renovations and now it’s become available again.
The floor at The Town Hall is carpeted and wooden which is far more better to train on and a lot more visible to the public.
To celebrate the change of venue, Gulliver is offering a free lesson to any newcomer. Classes run every Tuesday from 6:30pm, Thursday from 7pm and Saturday from 11am.
