Maclean’s Melbourne double header

Maclean’s Melbourne double header

Singer Brendan Maclean is returning to Melbourne for another appearance at The Butterfly Club next week.

The always eccentric and vocally-talented Sydney boy will open a double header of original music with fellow gay performer, Jack Colwell, who’ll be debuting songs from his first upcoming album, ʻPicture Windowʼ, to be released in April.

Maclean returns to Melbourne after touring with Eagle and The Worm and The Whitlams in 2010, as well as landing in Rage’s Top 50 for his single ‘Practically Wasted’.

He’ll be playing solo, with songs from his debut EP White Canvas, no doubt adorned in another of his eye-catching ensembles.

Let’s hope he brings the ukulele again.

Brendan Maclean and Jack Colwell are at The Butterfly Club, South Melbourne on February 1. Bookings: www.thebutterflyclub.com
