Opera diva will not be silenced

Sydney’s opera fans may want to consider a trip north to Brisbane next month, as acclaimed soprano Lisa Gasteen returns to the stage for an intimate evening of song in Lisa Gasteen and Friends on Sunday, May 8, at the Conservatorium Theatre, South Bank. Gasteen had been silenced for the past few years after an unfortunate accident left her with neck muscle spasms, rendering her unable to sing.
