Kylie remembers the old days
Earlier today Kylie uploaded a new ’80s remix of Put Your Hands Up to her YouTube page.
The extremely camp re-work is the handiwork of Stock Aitken Waterman’s “mix master” Pete Hammond, making this the closest she has ever come to a reunion with the famed Hit Factory.
While the song hasn’t been confirmed as a single, the pop icon left a message on YouTube naming it one of the highlights from her Aphrodite World Tour.
“Those of you who have been to a show will know that ‘Put Your Hands Up’ goes OFF!” she said.
“So as a tour thank you I wanted to share this 80′s-tastic remix by the legendary Pete Hammond. Enjoy!!”
Pete obviously took a note from Kylie’s 1990 hit Step Back In Time because the mix wouldn’t sound out of place on Rhythm Of Love or Let’s Get To It.
