Gay choir wins big

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir scored a win at last Friday’s Sydney Eisteddfod with their Australian premier performance of ‘Gay versus Straight Composers’, a piece originally composed by Eric Lane Barnes for the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. The Choir won the ‘Choir – Any Age’ category of the Eisteddfod. The choir now take a week’s break before returning to rehearsals on June 17 with a whole new repertoire.
