Gay Day picnic postponed

The ALSO Foundation’s Gay Day at Melbourne Zoo has been postponed until next year.

The event was scheduled to occur tomorrow, December 18 on the zoo lawns.

ALSO spokesman Alex Schoeffel said a poor weather forecast for tomorrow and calls from members to hold the event after Christmas have forced the day to be called off.

Gay Day is likely to be held in February.

Any ticket buyers should contact ALSO on 9660 3900 or email alex@also.org.au for refunds or to transfer their tickets to the February event.
