Lismore’s Tropical Fruits is calling for interested artists to come up with a sparkling new design for their New Year’s Eve party poster.

This year is all about razzle-dazzle with ‘Gold Rush’ the evening’s theme.

The winning poster will incorporate the theme and the artist will work with the Tropical Fruits team to develop the final image of the festival.

A top five will also be chosen with free NYE festival passes up for grabs as well as the chance to participate in the NYE festival art exhibition.

May 31 is the deadline for entries so there’s still a little time to get the creative juices flowing.

Tropical Fruits, the peak gay and lesbian social group in New South Wales’ Northern Rivers region, has been running for 22 years.

Tropical Fruits NYE party will be held at Lismore Showgrounds, Lismore from December 31 to January 1. Online ticket sales and volunteer registration start on September 1.
