Honour award noms open
Nominations are now open for NSW’s annual LGBT community awards, which recognise the achievements of both individuals and organisations.
Now in their sixth year, the Honour Awards are an annual gala fundraising event for NSW’s health and HIV/AIDS organisation, ACON.
“The Honour Awards are all about celebrating how people from all walks of life are helping or inspiring others in our community,” acting ACON CEO Geoff Honnor said.
Nominations can be submitted in five categories covering the business, health, education, community, legal, political, media and cultural sectors.
This year’s awards will be presented at The Ivy in Sydney on Thursday, September 20.
