The Metropolitan Community Church Good Shepherd in Granville, a church with a special outreach to the GLBTI community, will hold its first-ever photographic workshop this weekend.

On Saturday, July 9, as a special lead-up to the MCC’s 25th anniversary celebrations, participants can enjoy two hours of fun and learning about photography, with a refreshment break. All profits (there is a registration fee of $10) will be given to MCCGS to assist in its outreach work.

You’ll receive a program, Shane Andersen’s Night Photography Hints & Tips booklet, and gifts from sponsors including 4Reel Photographics,, Cartridge World and Fotofriends Bankstown Centro.

Participants can bring their past works along and take part in a photo competition to be judged on the afternoon. There’ll also be a modelling photoshoot and Q&A session for all to participate in.

International photographer and lecturer in still photography and videography, Shane Andersen will host the session.
