RESEARCH has revealed that users spend more time daily on Grindr than they do on any other other social networking site or app.

The data comes from a survey conducted in the US by Cowen and Company which claimed the average daily time its users spend on Facebook is 42.1 minutes, compared to Grindr which was 54 minutes.

Also on the list was Tumblr at 34.2 minutes, Instagram at 21.2 minutes and Tinder, another dating app for both heterosexual and LGBTI users, was just 14.9 minutes daily.

According to Business Insider Australia Grindr’s single biggest audience is the US, with just under 1.3 million monthly active users.
