Gay health survey returns
The Sydney Gay Community Periodic Survey is on again.
The survey is designed to improve our understanding of gay men’s health issues in Sydney by gathering data on sexual behaviour, sexual health, drug use and community engagement.
It occurs twice a year and is conducted by the National Centre in HIV Social Research and the Kirby Institute in collaboration with ACON and Positive Life NSW.
Recruiters will be at 20 LGBT-friendly venues throughout Sydney during the Mardi Gras Festival including clinics, pubs, clubs, sex venues and gyms.
It’s completely confidential, only takes 10 minutes and there are prizes to be won for participants.

I remember one of these in Adelaide. I was refused one because I’m trans.
