Korean girl band INY is making international waves with their debut single Shake It, Shake It.

The song is a catchy re-work of Ciara’s 2009 hit Love Sex Magic but most of the attention they’re getting is due to their bad girl image.

Bloggers are comparing them to Russian pop duo tATu – pointing out the lesbian undertones in a controversial video that also features muggings, attempted rape and murder.

While most K Pop videos focus on cute choreography, INY takes a very different route.

Shake It, Shake It finds one band member wandering the streets of Korea stealing iPods from schoolgirls.

She then prevents a gang rape – becoming very close with the would be victim in a karaoke bar – before being pursued by the rapists, who are now out for revenge.

Not exactly your average music video!
