Filipino Idol does Beyoncé

A male contestant on the Filipino version of Australian Idol has become an overnight internet sensation with a note perfect rendition of Beyoncé’s Listen.

EJ’s verison of the Grammy-nominated song is uncannily similar to the original and has sparked considerable online debate over the 22- year-old’s sexuality and gender.

Since airing on November 20, the clip has since racked up almost a million hits on YouTube.
