AN 18-year-old high who was expelled from his high school soon after it was discovered he had starred in gay porn movies has been reinstated and allowed to return.

Earlier this week the internet was abuzz with news of Robert Marucci, aka Noel in Sean Cody’s gay porn films, being allegedly expelled  from Coco High School in Florida after classmates found out about his explicit work.

Following media coverage and public support for Marucci, he was allowed to return to his school and was expected to graduate from his final year.

Marucci entered the adult porn industry to financially help his mother Melyssa Lieb, and she publicly supported his work.

She also said her son was an honour roll student who helped out in the school leadership program.

Speaking with local television news, Lieb told the reporter that Marucci’s school had told her that her son was “expelled not just suspended”, and that the reason was because of “his explicit, adult, lifestyle career.”

The school did not comment on the reasons why Marucci was suspended, citing privacy laws. However, a note given to Marucci at the time indicated

that Marucci was suspended due to him making threats to bring a weapon to school.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We would never suspend a student for his job or job-related activities.

“It’s easy to become emotional about a situation when it looks like a student is being targeted for his lifestyle choices, that is not the case here. We will conti

nue to work with the student and his family to make sure he graduates and moves on with is education.”
