A new group catering to LGBTI parents in Brisbane and potentially wider Queensland is in the works, with organisers seeking input from families in regional and urban areas.
Rainbow Families Queensland received a grant from Healthy Communities to develop a website, including a forum, which is now up and running.
The organisation also wants to ensure support for regional parents and their children, and is keen to hear from interested participants about how best to get them involved.
In particular, Rainbow Families are looking for people who think they could make a difference by joining their board.
The group is also keen to receive information from LGBTI parents about activities in their area which might be of interest to Rainbow Families.
