Anna Wintour to receive equality honour
Vogue editor Anna Wintour will be presented with an Ally of Equality Award at the Human Rights Campaign’s Greater New York Gala on February 4 in New York.
Openly-gay Glee creator Ryan Murphy will present the award to the long-running editor of the US fashion bible.
“We recognise Anna Wintour for her grace, dignity, style, philanthropy and generosity,” HRC president Joe Solmonese said.
The gala celebrates LGBT rights victories and addresses the work ahead for full LGBT equality in the US.
