Aphrodite Les Folies DVD confirmed
The London leg of Kylie Minogue’s Aphrodite: Les Folies world tour, filmed at the O2 Arena last April, will be available from November 28 on CD, DVD and Blu-ray.
Described by The Sunday Telegraph as “Bigger, better, bolder, camper and brighter than any of Minogue’s previous shows,” the spectacular features costumes created for Kylie by Dolce & Gabbana. It also features an enchanting Greek mythology theme that concludes with an astonishing water finale.
Directed by Kylie’s long-time creative director William Baker and renowned director Marcus Viner (Lady Gaga, the Scissor Sisters, Shakira, Katy Perry), the tour spanned five continents, 27 countries, 55 cities, 77 shows, with 150 days on the road, 85,000km travelled and audience numbers in excess of 575,000.
The DVD footage, filmed over two nights, captures the show at its absolute peak and includes an exclusive tour documentary. It features more than 25 tracks spanning her career and is available in a variety of formats.
