Kylie’s new bloom

Kylie’s new bloom

Australia’s pop princess Kylie Minogue, has released the video for her newest single Flower. The soft and sweet ballad is straight from her compilation album, The Abbey Road Sessions – a rework of Minogue’s hits into a collection of orchestral pieces.

Being released as a celebration of the singer’s 25th anniversary, Minogue’s single is the only ‘new’ song on the album. Having already performed the song on her X tour in 2007, it already rates high among some fans.

The unveiling of the Flower video is just that – a literal unveiling of the singer. Draped in transparent chiffon and placed under a silk white sheet, the 44-year-old peels back the layers and lets her music do the talking.

The video is also a directing debut for Minogue, who told popdash.com she knew exactly how she wanted the video to look.

“I wanted to direct the video as I have always known how I wanted to illustrate the song,” she said.

“The shoot was a fun couple of days and I hope fans love the result.”

Well fans, now is your chance to gush; take a look at the video below.
