Eurovision-themed fundraiser

Healthy Communities is hosting a Eurovision-themed fundraiser called Schlagerfest this month, coinciding with the 2012 song contest.

The event will be held at Stockholm Syndrome restaurant in Albion (Brisbane), where Eurovision will be shown on the big screen. The uber-camp Millie Bannister will host the evening and will treat attendees to Eurovision-inspired performances.

Most of Healthy Communities’ LGBT community health and wellbeing projects are unfunded and rely on volunteers and fundraising efforts.

Stockholm Syndrome will be putting together Schlager Platters for purchase along with drinks.

Schlagerfest kicks off at 6.30pm on Sunday, May 27. Tickets are $10. Stockholm Syndrome is a licensed venue and this is an 18+ event.
