Happy birthday Fag Tag

Fag Tag is known for its great parties and this Sunday 27 July will see the celebration of its fourth birthday at the Blue Hotel in Woolloomooloo.

Each year the birthday Fag Tag is always one of the best events. It draws a big crowd that likes to have fun on a Sunday arvo, said Fag Tag organiser Tim Duggan.

Our birthday parties are always one of the biggest Fag Tags of the year. We’re pretty proud to have survived four years and to still be having just as much fun as we did when we first started.

At the bash one lucky Fag Tagger will win a trip for two with flights and accommodation to the next party in Melbourne on Sunday 10 August.

With the main aim of the night to have fun, it’s going to be a party hard to forget.

We have evolved a lot over the past four years. It started off as rather subversive, but the size of it now means a lot of planning goes in place to make each one spontaneous, Duggan said.

We could never have predicted how much it would be embraced, but we’ve got lots of fun plans. With all the new bars and venues being opened up, we’ll never run out of spaces and we want to keep exploring unexpected places.

So what else is on the horizon for Fag Tag?

There is one particular plan that we’re working on at the moment for summer that is just going to re-write all the rules, Duggan said. But I can’t reveal too much yet.
