Ironclad name needed

Australia’s first gay and lesbian beach festival, CoastOut, is seeking a name for its blue-ribbon event.
Organisers of the October festival in Coffs Harbour aren’t satisfied with simply an ‘ironman’ or ‘ironwoman’ title for the race and are hoping a competition can provide a creative alternative.
“We have discussed several options, and names like ‘Ironperson’ and even ‘GlitterMan’ have come up — though we need a genderless title as it is a mixed event,” event organiser Todd Buttery said.
Starting at noon on October 30, the race will consist of a 600m swim, a 600m board paddle and a 2km run. Other events on the day include a 1.2km ocean swim, a 4km run, beach flags and beach sprints, along with some less intensive beach games and activites.
For your chance to win a three-day pass to the festival, email [email protected] with your name, contact details and your imaginative title for the event.
