Dionne makes new friends
The Sydney Morning Herald ran with a big page five photo of Dionne Warwick and friends headed: “She’s one AIDS activist who won’t walk on by.” However, The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential used an almost identical photo but cropped the pos boys out and ran with the revelation that Warwick loves shopping in Double Bay.
The AAP report led with Warwick’s comments on Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl bare breast fiasco, recapped her career in some detail and then tacked on her commitment to HIV in the final coup
