Say something with art

Say something with art

DAVID SYMMONS

Mardi Gras’ 2011 theme of ‘Say Something’ has just created a Facebook application for users to send in their ‘say something’ statements and photos. The application allows users to create a personal statement about what Mardi Gras means to them, or what being a member of the GLBT  community means to them.

By submitting your entry you instantly go into the draw to win the ultimate Mardi Gras package, including two tickets to the VIP parade viewing area, two tickets to the world-famous Mardi Gras after-party, and a Virgin travel voucher valued at $500. You can enter as many times as you want and be as creative as you want – simply say something in 15 words or less, choose a photo to go with it, publish to your Facebook wall and their gallery and get your friends to vote for you. The entry with the most public votes at the end of the competition wins!

You can enter by clicking here: http://www.facebook.com/saysomething2011?ref=ts&v=wall#!/saysomething2011?v=app_176787899028176. Entries close on February 24.
