Going Greek

Going Greek

Fresh from their sell-out season of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar at the Wharf last year, Cry Havoc return to the Sydney stage this month with their production of Charles Mee’s Orestes 2.0. Based on Euripides’ Greek tragedy, re-set in the world today, and with a cast including Nick Eadie and Guy Edmonds (pictured), the play is a frenetic channel surf between ancient Greek text and American pop culture, combining in a big bang of contemporary relevance.

info: Orestes 2.0 plays from February 17 – March 13 at SBW Stables Theatre, 10 Nimrod St, Kings Cross. Visit www.griffintheatre.com.au
