Packed to the Rafters actor Hugh Sheridan makes his Sydney Opera House debut this week with a musical tribute to showbiz legend Anthony Newley. Newley Discovered tells the story of Newley’s life from his miserable East End childhood to his high life in the United States where he performed and composed some of the ballads that became signature hits for Sammy Davis Jnr, Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennett. Sheridan performs at the Playhouse from June 16-20.
