The Queen of Rave, Rozalla, is touring the country this June with shows at The Club in Kings Cross, The Oxford Factory and North Sydney’s Greenwood Hotel.

The singer is currently enjoying success in the ARIA charts with a remix of her worldwide smash Everybody’s Free. The track went to number one in the early ’90s and was this year’s theme tune to the hit TV series So You Think You Can Dance.

I didn’t think it would be so popular, though I am really happy that it continues to sustain itself and I’m currently enjoying the Global Deejay’s mix, Rozalla said.

While in Australia, the singer will also promote her new album Brand New Version, which has a more mellow and easy-listening vibe.

I want to write about real life experiences, she said. It’s been a dream of mine to do more easy listening music and it’s different as it’s quite a departure from dance music.

info: Catch Rozalla at The Club (under Hugo’s in Kings Cross) on 4 June, The Oxford Art Factory on 6 June and the Greenwood on 7 June. For more on Rozalla
