Sydney’s tasty festival

Syndey’s about to get a taste of Tasty!
That’s right, Australia’s most notorious gay dance club is coming to town for Mardi Gras — and you are all invited.
Influenced by the music from the ’70s through to today, the Tasty Festival Bar will feature Melbourne DJ Gavin Campbell who has a national reputation for spinning beats that are wild, sexual, energetic and addictive.
The original Tasty — in Melbourne’s Commerce Club — was raided by police in August 1994 and to this day remains one of Australia’s best-known abuses of human rights. Victoria Police were ordered to pay more than $10 million in compensation to the patrons involved.
Its move to Sydney this Mardi Gras marks a move forward for the underground dance party which is still an annual event in its home city.

info: Tasty is on Saturday, March 6, 9pm-3am at the Mardi Gras Festival Bar, Supper Club, Oxford Hotel. Tickets available through moshtix @ $25 pre-sale or $30 on the door.
