Midsumma gets sun smart
Melbourne’s largest gay and lesbian arts festival Midsumma will slip, slop and slap its way through summer.
The organisation has partnered with skin cancer prevention group SunSmart to spread the word among punters to stay safe from the sun’s rays while enjoying the festival. SunSmart manager Sue Heward said, before heading out, festivalgoers should check the daily UV levels in the newspaper or on the SunSmart website or iPhone app.
