Favourite Kylie single?
The Australian leg of Kylie’s Aphrodite Les Folies – World Tour comes to end in Perth tonight, but we thought we’d celebrate the pop icon’s brief homecoming by asking you to help us determine her best single.
With 11 brilliant studio albums and hits spanning 24 years, it’s almost impossible to choose a favourite song.
Perhaps an early single would be the safest bet. There’s her 1987 debut Locomotion, which stayed at number one for seven weeks to become the highest selling singles of the decade.
Or how about 1990’s iconic gay anthem Better The Devil You Know? It’s a classic and Kylie memorably performed it at Mardi Gras.
Not feeling the old school material? Well, there’s always Confide In Me and Some Kind Of Bliss from the pint-sized diva’s alternative phase, or the poptastic Spinning Around, which marked her return as a chart force in 2000.
Although it’s hard to go past her monster hit Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, and the slinky Slow remains a fan favourite, especially after the new and very sexy version she performed as part of the current world tour.
And then there’s her recent material – All The Lovers is still on high rotation in the SSO office, alongside Get Outta My Way and the new singled Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel In Love).
This is not easy! Let us know which of the following Kylie singles is your favourite – if you are not into any of those suggested, we’ve left room for you to add your own.
